Celebrating Women’s Month: Embracing Equity through Social Impact Investing

This month, we celebrated International Women’s Day; a day to celebrate the achievements of women and to raise awareness of the challenges they face around the world. As an organization committed to ending poverty and empowering women, we recognize the critical role that women and girls play in building a better future for all. We also know that poverty disproportionately affects women and girls, who are more likely to experience food insecurity, lack of access to education and healthcare, and other barriers that limit their potential.

Thanks to your support, endPoverty has been able to make a real difference in the lives of women and girls living in poverty. We have provided access to capital, coaching and community which has opened up various economic opportunities, helping them build a better future for themselves, their families and the community. Today, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible achievements of women around the world, in particular  Florence of Nyota Ltd. We are inspired by how she is impacting women in her community, helping them overcome poverty, by providing for their families and educating their children.

As we celebrate International Women’s Month, we want to invite you to take a moment to reflect on the women in your life who have inspired and supported you. Perhaps it’s your mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, or friend. Think about how their love, guidance, and leadership has shaped who you are today, and consider what you can do to support the women in your life and the vulnerable women around the world.

We want to express our gratitude for your ongoing support. We also know that there is still so much work to be done to ensure that all women have the opportunity to thrive. We invite you to join us in our mission to end poverty and empower women to achieve God’s calling in their lives.

In your giving, add the comment “IWD” to give directly to training a woman entrepreneur.

Thank you for your generosity, and may God bless you and the women you support.
